Molly Bingham spent 2 1/2 years as former Vice President Al Gore's documentary photographer for the U.S. National Archives. She also has spent years recording the plight of beleaguered people and places in Afghanistan, the Gaza Strip, Burundi, Sudan and Iran. Her award-winning work has appeared in leading publications in Italy, Germany and England as well as in Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times and Washington Post.
"She is doing a job she loves and that, in my opinion, is socially beneficial," her father said. "Most of her career has been going to places most Americans don't go and taking photos of things most of us don't see."
